Yeliu is a cape of about 1,700 meters long formed by Datun Mountain reaching into the sea. The place is divided into three sections. The first section has rocks like Queen's Head, Fairy's Shoe and Candle. The second section has rocks like Bean Curd, Dragon Head and the third section has sea-eroded caves and seal shaped rock.
PingSi and Shifen are just two of several towns alongside highway 106, a narrow back road that runs between southern Taipei and southern Keeling.
Jiufen used to the center of gold mining in 1890. It is located within the hills in northeast of Taiwan, the village is next to the mountain and facing the sea. The most prosperous shopping district is Jiufen Old Street. It goes through most of the village and there are many visitors on the street.
Shifen, which means there used to be ten families working together to build the home. It is located at the source of the Keelung River. The power of the rushing water has modified the layers of rock formations, creating beautiful scenery and several clusters of waterfalls.
Fisherman's Wharf is a multi-purpose leisure fishing port developed by the New Taipei City Government. There are magnificent floating pier and a spacious park, with a bridge in the shape of a boat spanning across the harbour and a wooden path stretching over 300 meters at the waterfront. It is relaxing to lean against the fence enjoying the breeze and sights at the Danshui River. In the evening, this is the best place to watch the view of sunset.
